She always said she loved the Garden District.
She said she warned me, I must have missed it.
I fumble with words to describe all of the feelings I held inside.
And this pain isn't cured by any drug they prescribe, all I am doing is wasting time.
I want to find something that's worth giving up.
I never thought I'd see the day, you'd end up throwing me away. I never thought the time would come, you'd blame me for everything he's done, and use your words against me like a gun.

I was searching for love in a place that gave up on me long ago.
